from october 23 to 26, china overseas group successfully held the theme "tunnel crossing and submarine immersed tunnel technology" in hong kong. "science and technology guidance and technical exchange activities. this event invited 11 people, including mr. mao zhibing, chief engineer of china state construction engineering corporation, mr. xiao xuwen, academician of the chinese academy of engineering and chief expert of china state construction engineering corporation, and 11 chief engineers of the ministry of science and technology of china state construction corporation and the engineering bureaus of china state construction corporation. on-site visits and technical exchanges were conducted in the hong kong-zhuhai-macao bridge hong kong link, shazhong line-south-north line cross-sea railway tunnel and the central-wan chai bypass causeway bay tunnel project undertaken by hong kong, and extensive and in-depth discussions were conducted on the rational application of tunnel engineering technology. president mao also presided over the special meeting for the acceptance of the technology demonstration project of the central-wan chai bypass causeway bay tunnel project.

through this theme event, the technical influence of china overseas group in the china state construction engineering corporation has been enhanced. mr. mao’s performance on china overseas group’s participation in the construction of major infrastructure projects in hong kong the professional technical ability was highly appraised.
